Marina Danieli Wine Club – Selezione autunnale 2022

The season was exceptionally hot and dry. Pinot Nero began véraison in early July and was harvested for a client on 10 August, almost one week earlier than in previous years. The first estate fruit entered the cellar on 23 August: Pinot Grigio, partly hand-picked, rapidly crushed and destemmed, then given brief temperature-controlled skin contact. Bunch numbers were low and berries small, juicy and concentrated. Friulano, Sauvignon and Ribolla Gialla were scheduled to follow, with the red varieties expected in early October.
