Office staff worked remotely for almost two months, while the cellar prepared for harvest and the outdoor vineyard team continued working. Hospitality was the most affected part of the business. During lockdown the estate bottled several wines, including the first limited Merlot Clama, begun in 2018 following parcel studies. Clama was described as an amphitheatre among the hills with historic Merlot planted around 1940. Scacciapensieri reopened for booked lunches and dinners on 22 May.
