Cantine Aperte 2024 — Suoni e sapori autoctoni con Cavit a Maso Toresella

The programme opened with a concert by the ANIMA string quartet. Its instruments incorporated soundboards and soundposts made from the white spruce known as Avez del Prinzep, described as Europe’s tallest fir before it fell on the Altopiano Cimbro in 2017 at 250 years of age.

A tasting of two wines from native varieties in Cavit’s Trentini Premium collection followed. Food was prepared by LA TAOLA, a group of young chefs whose cooking uses Trentino ingredients exclusively. Two sessions were arranged, from 10:30 to approximately 13:00 and from 15:30 to approximately 18:00.
