The Hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene: the birthplace of ContradaGranda Masottina
The Conegliano Valdobbiadene hills became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019 for a cultural landscape shaped over centuries by viticulture. Their steep slopes often restrict mechanisation and require careful manual work, including hand harvesting.
ContradaGranda combines fruit complexity from Ogliano, floral expression from Solighetto and freshness with pronounced acidity from Rolle. This blending model seeks balance, depth and elegance while retaining the identity of the denomination’s different sectors. The collection name honours the ancient Contrada Granda, the historic centre of Conegliano and a place associated with community, culture and tradition.
