Barolo Rocche dell’Annunziata Riserva 2016

Barolo Rocche dell’Annunziata Riserva 2016 became the winery’s first Riserva, released in a limited quantity of 1,900 bottles and 50 magnums. The family has owned its small vineyard in this La Morra MGA since the 1970s. The south-east-facing site contains abundant crushed stone that promotes drainage. Climatic and stylistic considerations led to a restrained period in wood and longer maturation in bottle, intended to preserve a clear expression of the site.
