A new green project for the re-use of cork stoppers

Medici Ermete partnered with Artimestieri, a social cooperative active in green building and social solidarity since 1989. Collected corks are checked, sanitized and ground for uses including breathable thermal insulation, acoustic treatment, furnishings, clothing, coatings and plasters. The Reggio Emilia wine shop serves as a collection point. The value returned for the cork is donated to Let Children Be Children, which supports children in remote Ethiopian villages through sport, camps and other childhood programs.
