About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the estate's own vineyards in Tuscany. The vines are around 20 years old and are planted at 250 m above sea level on northeast-facing sites.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in the first ten days of September and carefully selected. After gentle pressing, the must ferments for 7 days at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, with 5–8 days of maceration.
Ageing
The wine is aged in French barriques for at least 12 months, followed by a further 3 months in bottle.
