MonBirone Centenary Edition 1918–2018

The 2018 vintage commemorated the hundredth harvest since Clotilde Valente bought the Mombirone vineyard in 1918. Clotilde initially sold the wine in her Canale osteria before beginning bottling in 1961. Production passed to Francesca Raimondo, Marco Monchiero and, from 1995, Francesco Monchiero. The celebratory label carried the signatures of all four custodians.

The release comprised 10,577 standard bottles, 100 magnums, 10 jeroboams and five balthazars. It was presented in a white box rather than the usual wooden case and scheduled for release in April 2021.
