Il 2 e 3 dicembre saremo a Vini Corsari 2018 a Barolo

The 2–3 December gathering brought 30 European growers to Barolo for the sixth edition of a tasting devoted to wines originating outside the local appellation. Participating growers shared an artisanal approach, environmentally respectful viticulture and an intention to communicate protected terroirs through knowledge inherited from earlier generations.

The event’s name referred to Pier Paolo Pasolini’s Scritti Corsari and its defence of local cultural diversity against standardisation and fashion. Monte Dall’Ora linked that theme to an unembellished, place-centred understanding of wine.
