Inauguration of Monteleone21

The inauguration brought together institutions, wine organizations, producers, journalists and international guests. Sandro Boscaini welcomed the participants, and the ribbon cutting included Masi CEO Federico Girotto, Veneto Region representatives and the mayors of Verona and Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella. A plaque commemorated the laying of the first stone.

Giovanna Mar explained the architectural concept, and Fabrizio Plessi presented L’Anima dell’Amarone in the drying hall. The subsequent Vino al centro round table, moderated by Sebastiano Barisoni, addressed wine markets, consumption, tariffs, wine tourism, the Winter Olympics, regional business resilience and the cultural and economic role of wine.

The program closed with dinner, Costasera Riserva Amarone and a performance by Lorenzo Salvetti.
