About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The vineyard parcels face south to south-west at 140 metres above sea level. Their complex, stony soils lie over a clay substratum, and the planting density is 6,600 vines per hectare.

Grapes

Blend proportions vary by vintage. The latest published vintage, 2025, is 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Mourvèdre.

Vinification

The grapes are picked early by hand, working from sunrise until noon, then sorted by hand and pressed gently and briefly. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel vats at a controlled low temperature to protect freshness and aromatic character. After the blend is assembled, the wine undergoes cold tartaric stabilization before bottling.

Ageing

The wine rests in bottle for four months before release.

Technical data

The 2025 is classified as IGT Toscana and has 13% alcohol by volume.

Tasting profile

The 2025 has a bright, inviting sea-dawn hue. Its bouquet combines wild strawberries, kumquat, wet stones, yellow rose, loquat and a suggestion of green tea. The palate is juicy, fresh and mineral, leading to a sensual, persistent finish. The wine’s broader style is delicate and fresh, with a gentle structure.

Serving and pairing

Versatile enough for an aperitif or the table, it pairs with vegetarian dishes, pizza, oysters, white fish, and raw fish or meat preparations. Fish-based dishes are a natural match.

Vintage notes

Winter 2024–2025 began mildly with little rainfall. Rain became abundant between February and April while temperatures remained within the normal range. Budding occurred slightly early, in the third week of March. Moderate conditions at the start of summer gave way to a very hot July, accelerating veraison. August brought cooler nights, more controlled temperatures and several showers. The early, efficient harvest avoided September storms: Merlot was gathered on 19 August, Cabernet Franc on 23 August and Mourvèdre on 28 August.

Label / history

Created in 2014, TM Rosé completed the estate’s depiction of its landscape as a tribute to the nearby coast and its beaches. Its characteristic colour evokes dawn over the sea, while the wine’s identity is summed up by the theme “The sea breeze.” It is made in a small production.
