About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in Morgante’s vineyards in Sicily, on limestone and clay soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in the first half of September. Fermentation on the skins lasts 15 days at a controlled temperature of 25–28 °C, followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine rests briefly in old French oak barrels from Allier and Tronçais, followed by a further 2–4 months in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
