About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The area is marked by small valleys and hills, with a mild climate and warm sunshine.
Vinification
The wine undergoes two fermentations. The second fermentation takes place on skins remaining from Amarone and Recioto production, which still contain unfermented sugar. This increases the wine’s body, colour, aroma and concentration.
Ageing
It matures in Slavonian oak barrels for 16 months, followed by 6 months in the winery’s cellars after bottling.
