Casanuova di Nittardi 2022 meets the art of RISSA

RISSA’s label drew inspiration from classical mosaic and used lavender blue and lilac to represent friendship and a desired cultural union. An azure butterfly on the wrapping paper symbolized transience. The project placed technical rigour and emotional sensitivity alongside Nittardi’s concept of wine as craftsmanship: the grower interprets nature with creativity and knowledge in the same way that an artist approaches a blank surface.

The 2022 season was among the warmest of recent years, but late rain and attentive vineyard management preserved balance. The resulting edition continued the two-signature concept established in 1981—the internal work of the Nittardi team and the external contribution of a contemporary artist.
