Vendemmia Verticale

Inaugurated for Profumi di Mosto on 10 October 2021, Vendemmia Verticale turned the estate's red, washable food-grade harvest crates into a courtyard ready-made. The 470 crates symbolised 15 kg of fruit each, or approximately 7,000 kg in total: the favourable harvest from one hectare containing about 4,200 vines. The work drew attention to manual harvesting and selection, both treated as essential to achieving the vineyards' full expressive potential. Approximately 20,000 crates are filled and emptied during an estate harvest. The installation was planned to remain freely accessible in the courtyard for about one year.
