Pasqua and Charles Smith Unveil Pasqua + Smith Pinot Noir

First presented at Vinitaly 2026, the collaboration brings Pasqua’s Valpolicella experience together with Charles Smith’s emphasis on fruit expression and immediacy. Campiano lies above San Giovanni Ilarione at approximately 600 m, where 20–30-year-old Pinot Noir grows on southwest-facing clay-limestone slopes surrounded by forest. The first edition combines the 2018, 2022, 2023 and 2025 vintages. Pasqua began developing the concept nearly a decade earlier, and Smith joined in 2021. Repeated vineyard visits and tastings of base wines dating from 2018 shaped the final multi-vintage composition. Sara Ricciardi translated the collaboration into Resonance, a site-specific installation centred on a four-metre geode at Palazzo Maffei.
