Tommasi Grows in Basilicata with Paternoster
The agreement signed in mid-August 2016 brought the Tommasi family into Paternoster as majority shareholder. Its objectives were to strengthen the Paternoster brand and commercial network and increase vineyard and cellar investment, with particular attention to organic farming and environmental sustainability.
Paternoster then comprised approximately 20 hectares divided among holdings in the Barile countryside, including Don Anselmo and Rotondo, together with a modern cellar. The Paternoster family was to continue participating in management. Both families presented the collaboration as a means of maintaining the estate’s authentic style and regional traditions while increasing the visibility of the Vulture.
