Barbaresco Vanotu Riserva 2010

Released in May 2020, the limited 2010 Vanotu Riserva commemorated fifty years of estate history and appeared exactly sixty years after the first Pelissero-labelled bottle was sold to family friends in 1960. It followed ten years of work and was the family’s second special Vanotu Riserva.

The wine came from the best fruit of the Vanotu vineyard replanted by Luigi Pelissero in 1964. Its presentation was designed by Guido Harari using the cellar’s RAL 3004 wine-red colour. Handwriting reproduced from original deeds of sale for the family vineyards decorated the box, reinforcing the release’s connection with family history.
