About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the "Colle al Fico" vineyard, on clay and sandy soils. The vines are 16 years old on average.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted at the winery. Vinification takes place in truncated cone-shaped oak barriques, with 25 days of skin maceration.
Ageing
The wine ages for 18 months in oak barrels, 20% of them new. It then spends a further 12 months in bottle in the winery's cellars before release.
