About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Cabernet Sauvignon grows in a vineyard with clay-sandy, slightly calcareous soils. The vines are 18 years old on average.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and sorted carefully at the winery before fermentation in 100 hl cone-shaped oak barriques. The wine undergoes a long skin maceration under strict temperature control.
Ageing
The wine ages 12–18 months in barriques, 20% of them new, then a further 10 months in bottle in the winery's cellars before release.
