A regular spring and well-distributed rainfall allowed the vines to attain sound vegetative balance without notable disease problems. Vermentino harvesting began in the first week of September, while red grapes were expected from mid-September. Poggio al Tufo’s production was forecast to finish approximately 5–10% below the previous year. Across the family estates, quality-focused measures included closer bud selection, restrained yields and daily monitoring of final ripening.
