MPS Tenimenti debuted its new Chianti Classico Gran Selezione in Palazzo Chigi-Saracini, home of the Accademia Chigiana. President Mauro Rosati described the event as a reconnection between Count Chigi Saracini’s agricultural property and the musical and artistic heritage preserved by the Accademia.

Rosati also addressed difficult conditions in the wine sector, including tariffs, regulatory pressures and changing consumption among younger drinkers. Against this background, he emphasized the strength of the inherited agricultural property, describing a territory composed not only of vineyards but also woodland, lakes and significant biodiversity.

Responsible territorial management was presented as a strategic priority. The stated sustainability program centers on defending the morphology of the landscape, protecting ecosystems and keeping the property as healthy as possible for the future of the estate and Chianti.
