The profile presents Poggio Argentiera as one of Italy’s youngest winery teams. Its 20 ha were planted to Sangiovese, Alicante, Vermentino, Syrah and Cabernet Franc and produced approximately 120,000 bottles, including two Morellino di Scansano DOCG wines. Giovanni Frascolla, then 24, led the estate after learning through family experience and repeated harvest work. When the previous oenologist left in 2020, Giovanni took responsibility himself and selected young people for the team.
