About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards are situated in Ortona, Abruzzo. Their south-eastern exposure provides favourable morning and daytime light.
Grapes
100% Pecorino.
Vinification
The grapes are crushed and destemmed, then held in contact with the skins for about 12 hours at approximately 3°C. Gentle pressing and static clarification follow. Fermentation proceeds at 12°C, with 80% of the juice in stainless-steel tanks and the remaining 20% in 40 hL oak vats.
Tasting profile
Straw yellow with greenish reflections. The bouquet recalls white-fleshed fruit, particularly pear, accompanied by balsamic notes associated with the oak component.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 10–12°C. Suitable as an aperitif and with fish-based dishes.
