Rivera wines awarded high scores by James Suckling

The latest James Suckling reviews gave 91 points to Il Falcone 2020, Puer Apuliae 2018, Cappellaccio 2020 and Triusco 2023. Pungirosa 2024, Fabri 2024, Marese 2024, Violante 2022, Lama dei Corvi 2023 and Terre al Monte 2024 each received 90 points.

The results span native and international varieties, whites, rosés and reds. They are framed as recognition of more than 75 years spent interpreting Castel del Monte: balancing the calcareous Murgia landscape, indigenous grapes, established traditions and a contemporary style. The estate identifies continued enhancement of native varieties and faithful expression of the Murgia as the direction for future vintages.
