Madame Sauvignon 2021 named White Wine of the Year at the Food and Travel Italia Wine Awards

Madame Sauvignon 2021 was named White Wine of the Year during the Food and Travel Italia Wine Awards ceremony at Palazzo Nicolaci in Noto on 28 March. A specialist jury chaired by Marco Reitano selected the winners, and Enrico Coser accepted the award from Food and Travel Italia publisher Pamela Raeli. He attributed the result to family teamwork, the values passed on by his parents and a vision combining tradition and innovation. Madame Sauvignon was conceived as a one-off reserve from the particularly successful 2021 vintage. Hand-harvested fruit came from a selection vineyard on the higher east-facing slopes of Monte Quarin, and Giordano Floreancig created its label artwork.
