Vinitaly 2022 and “Vino. Oltre il ritratto”

For the return of Vinitaly after two years of suspended trade fairs, Zenato expanded its stand and created a format centred on direct encounters, tastings and the cultural work of Zenato Academy. The programme included vertical tastings dedicated to Lugana and Valpolicella.

The Academy presented Vino. Oltre il ritratto, curated by Luca Panaro in collaboration with Fondazione Modena Arti Visive. Photography students were invited to reconsider conventional portraiture and interpret the objects, landscapes and people of everyday winery life through images positioned between observation and constructed fiction.

After its inauguration at Vinitaly on 10 April, the exhibition was installed at Tenuta S. Cristina in Peschiera del Garda from May 2022. A bilingual Italian-English catalogue was published by Biblos Edizioni.
