2022 Harvest

A cold, dry winter was followed by a mild spring with little rain. Bud break began in early April and developed slowly but evenly. Flowering arrived at the end of May, approximately 10–15 days earlier than usual. Temperatures reached around 30 °C in early June and exceeded 35 °C during July.

Veraison began on 20 July. Rain on 29 July ended the drought, and cooler rainy days followed in August without compromising grape health. Fine September weather and marked day-to-night temperature variation completed ripening. Harvest took place on 26–27 September at an average yield of 4,200 kg/ha. Quality was judged medium to high across the vineyards, with 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2017 cited as comparable seasons.
