Famiglia Castagnedi Announces the Start of the 2024 Harvest

The harvest followed a demanding season shaped by May rainfall and summer heat. Agronomic work focused on supporting the vines according to their needs. Pinot Grigio was picked first, including organically managed fruit belonging to the separate TÉLOS program, before work moved through the other cultivated varieties. Amarone grapes destined for appassimento were expected to conclude the season by the end of October.

The renewed drying system combines controlled ventilation, weighted tracking of grape mass loss, direct human inspection and scientific monitoring. The estate presented these measures as part of a continuing effort to unite territorial identity, vertical style and more rigorous quality control.
