Soave, Longevity and the Estate’s White-Wine Program

The estate presented Vecchie Vigne 2016 and 2011 during two Soave events in September 2023. Tiziano Castagnedi used the releases to define longevity, verticality and complexity as central goals for the family’s interpretation of the denomination.

The program rests on three elements: volcanic and sulphurous eastern Veronese soils; Garganega, including vines over 60 years old; and cellar work designed to retain the distinctions of each vineyard. The renewed white range included VIGNA Monte Ceriani, Vecchie Vigne and the recently introduced Pinot Grigio, with Monte di Colognola planned for 2024.
