Marine Seaweed and Orange Essential Oil Help Protect the Vines

After several years of organic farming, Podere Sapaio obtained official organic certification beginning with the 2017 vintage. The estate presented this as an ethical and sustainable path toward healthy products and respect for nature.

Vineyard care emphasized prevention and natural support. Brown-seaweed and laminaria extracts were used to strengthen plants, while orange essential oil and propolis formed part of their care. These preparations served as natural inducers within the estate’s cultivation practices.
