Enoturismo a SassodiSole

The winery presented its location within the Val d’Orcia UNESCO landscape as the setting for a wine-tourism experience among vineyards, olive groves and wheat fields. A visit moved from the biodiverse countryside through the cellar and into the tasting room, where the estate’s wines could be paired with local foods.

Conversation with Roberto Terzuoli and his collaborators formed part of the experience, providing an introduction to Montalcino wine and to the family’s direct management of grape growing, vinification and maturation. The visit was framed by the family’s combination of technological innovation, agricultural continuity and respect for tradition.
