Sassodisole riapre le porte della cantina

Following the COVID-19 lockdown, Sasso di Sole reopened its cellar to customers and wine enthusiasts. Vineyard and estate work had continued throughout the closure, but Roberto Terzuoli welcomed the return of visitors and the opportunity to share the property in person.

Visits resumed with a tour of the places where the wines are made and matured, followed by tastings and cellar-door sales. During lockdown the family had maintained contact with customers through updates and wine shipments, but considered this an incomplete substitute for tasting at the estate within the Val d’Orcia landscape.
