Fermento

Fermento formed the second part of the two-event cycle Angolature: Accadrà da Michele Satta. The cycle asked whether people see the same reality or whether each person encounters a changing world from an individual angle. The winery served as the physical starting point for an encounter between the art of making wine and artistic interpretations of the world.

Lucia Satta conceived the programme around the importance of maintaining a personal, conscious and original point of view in a society inclined toward uniformity. The cultural initiative was linked to the same processes of care, research, observation and experimentation practised first by Michele and more recently by Giacomo.

Fermento ran from 10 September to 2 October 2021. Painter Alice Corbetta and video artist Sara Bargiacchi created a collaborative project specifically for the occasion.
