Sciaranuova Festival 2025: Piani Inclinati

The ninth Sciaranuova Festival was titled Piani Inclinati, suggesting oblique paths, sudden changes and unstable balances. Music—particularly keyboards in electronic, popular and cabaret forms—provided the connecting thread between its three productions.

On 26 July, Sonia Antinori’s La Meraviglia, performed by Carla Manzon and Tommaso Girardi, combined science, myth and poetry through the seventeenth-century discovery of the phosphorescent lapis bononiensis. On 1 August, Ernesto Tomasini and pianist Ornella Cerniglia presented DEGENERATA!, a cabaret moving between gender criticism, satire, 1930s aesthetics, Berlin, Broadway, Petrolini and the Café Chantant. On 2 August, Ivan Talarico closed the programme with La Moltiplicazione degli Occhi, mixing theatre, original songs, borrowed texts, irony and melancholy.

Each performance began at 21:00, with admission from 20:00 at Cantina Planeta Sciaranuova in Passopisciaro.
