Tale of the 2025 harvest

The 2025 harvest concluded on Saturday, 18 October, when the final bunch was cut in Sciaranuova’s highest vineyard. The wider harvest had begun on 4 August and followed two difficult and unpredictable seasons.

Winter and spring built adequate water reserves and supported photosynthetic activity. Regular but moderate summer rain, together with mild temperatures and an absence of heat waves, allowed even ripening. The Etna harvest was described as practically ideal, with healthy and abundant grapes. Across the family’s estates, production was 25% higher than in 2024.
