Blend: l'arte dell'assemblaggio nel vino sul Montello

The article returns to 1986, when Francesco Serafini and Antonello Vidotto began working with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot already established on Montello. Their central question was how the three varieties could work together rather than which one should dominate. Blending consequently became a deliberate stylistic choice rather than a passing fashion. That approach now underlies three different expressions: Il Rosso dell’Abazia, Phigaia and Marquise.
