Luca Speri Appointed President of Famiglie Storiche

Luca Speri was appointed president of Famiglie Storiche on 19 June 2026. Founded in 2009, the association brings together thirteen historic Valpolicella estates to promote Amarone della Valpolicella and strengthen the international standing of the territory.

The election carries a family connection: Luca’s father Carlo contributed to the association’s foundation and advocated collective work to protect the identity of Amarone and Valpolicella. Luca intends to continue that work by reinforcing the appellations’ identity, collaboration among producers and the presence of Italian wine culture in international markets.

The association comprises Allegrini, Begali, Bertani, Brigaldara, Guerrieri Rizzardi, Masi, Musella, Speri, Tedeschi, Tenuta Sant’Antonio, Tommasi, Torre d’Orti and Zenato.
