The article recounts the early-1990s restoration of the old cellar and small Bergera vineyards, followed by the first 1997 lots of Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto and Nascetta and the first 800 commercial Nascetta bottles in 1999. It connects this work to the 2010 recognition of Langhe Nas-cëtta del Comune di Novello.

Its central theme is the preservation and expression of native Langhe grapes and individual sites. Progetto PASINOT® is presented as a way to identify the character of its historic hill while conserving Nascetta biodiversity through approximately 750 vines propagated from 29 healthy old plants selected in three Novello vineyards.
