About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from vineyards distributed across various hillsides in the northern part of the Soave Classico area. Exposures vary, while the average elevation is approximately 300 m. The soils are volcanic in origin and have varied textures. The Garganega vines average at least 40 years of age.

Grapes

100% Garganega.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested manually from mid-September. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel for 14 days at 15–18 °C. Depending on the vintage, part of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation. Only one membrane filtration is performed before bottling.

Ageing

The wine matures for 5 months on its fine lees in steel tanks, followed by at least 1 month in bottle.

Technical data

Soave Classico DOC. Alcohol: 12.00% vol. First produced in 1983.

Tasting profile

Straw yellow with green reflections. Fresh fruit and white-flower aromas are joined by vegetal and mineral notes. The palate is juicy and balanced, bringing salinity together with freshness and softness.

Serving and pairing

Serve at 11–13 °C. Suitable as an aperitif and with appetizers, vegetable or fish dishes, lightly flavored white meats, and fresh or briefly aged cheeses.

Label / history

Conceived as Suavia’s interpretation of Soave: fresh, fruity and easy to drink while retaining a distinct character. Its imagery evokes flowered terraces, summer nights and outings in the hills.
