About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Catarratto grows in limestone and clay soils at approximately 900 m above sea level. The vineyards lie near the coast, where a strong sea breeze prevents air and moisture from settling and helps protect the vines from disease.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and fermented in stainless-steel tanks at 14–16 °C for 18 days. The wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine rests in stainless-steel tanks for four months.
