The Castagnedi brothers define TÉLOS through “soft vitienology”
The seminar held on 1 December examined the impact of human practices in the field, vineyard and cellar. Tiziano and Paolo Castagnedi presented TÉLOS alongside viticulture researcher Diego Tomasi and Wine Meridian director Fabio Piccoli. The discussion addressed consumer demand for wholesome wine, reduced environmental pressure, protection of water and soil and improved vineyard management.
Paolo Castagnedi explained that TÉLOS had pushed the family toward vitienologia soft: practices in vineyard and cellar reduced to the minimum required to avoid added sulfites and reveal the authentic character of varieties such as Corvina and Garganega. Tiziano Castagnedi placed intact, uncontaminated grapes at the center of the work and described respect as extending through the full path from plant to glass.
