M1435 — The 8th Issue

Entitled “The Time of the Land,” the eighth edition considers the winter rhythm of the Mazzei estates and the work carried out while the land rests and prepares for another cycle. Its section on the 2025 extra-virgin olive oil begins with hand harvesting at Castello di Fonterutoli, Belguardo and Zisola and continues through temperature-controlled, oxygen-free processing and immediate filtration. These measures are intended to preserve aroma, freshness and phenolic content while joining technical research to agricultural tradition. The edition also covers the Zisola citrus garden, the 2026 Chianti Ultra Trail and the 2023 Siepi vintage.
