2024 Vintage

The 2024 season combined a mild winter with abrupt changes during spring and summer. At Tenuta Canova in Lazise, the vineyards suffered root asphyxia as well as thermal stress when temperatures rose above 37°C on several August days. Despite those conditions, Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone were expected to reach full phenolic maturity by approximately 9 September.

The estate’s Harvest Festival was scheduled for 14 September. The event invited visitors to participate in the harvest with agronomists and oenologists from the Masi Technical Group. It also included visits to the drying loft, cellars and Wine Discovery Museum, followed by a wine-pairing dinner in which wine was also used as a culinary ingredient.
