Medici per il Territorio 2022: Umberto Galimberti at the estate

More than 220 participants attended the fifth Medici per il Territorio edition at La Rampata on 10 June 2022. Philosopher Umberto Galimberti delivered a monologue on the condition of young people in an age of nihilism, considering the cultural as well as psychological effects of uncertainty about the future after the pandemic.

Fondazione Palazzo Magnani loaned Pompilio Mandelli’s Omaggio a Duchamp for the evening. Its material character and progressive dissolution of form were used to build a connection with the event’s central subject.

Institutions, public officials, entrepreneurs, journalists, content creators, suppliers and other stakeholders attended. The programme sought to create links among art, culture, agriculture, economics, tourism and wine while generating new perspectives for the community.
