Medici per il Territorio 2026: Jacopo Veneziani at the estate

The eighth Medici per il Territorio gathering took place at Tenuta La Rampata on 4 June 2026. Created in 2018, the annual programme promotes reflection on the strategic and cultural importance of Emilia’s food-and-wine sector.

The evening’s theme was “Kindness and beauty: a dialogue between two interconnected values.” Art historian, writer and broadcaster Jacopo Veneziani discussed beauty as a form of care and kindness as a way to rediscover harmony with one’s surroundings.

Alessandro and Alessandra Medici opened the meeting. Alessandro connected regional food culture with local development and called for cooperation among companies, institutions and citizens. Guests could also view a work by contemporary artist Giorgio Tentolini. Representatives of municipal, provincial and regional institutions, industry and the legal community attended alongside members of the public.
