Grand Cru of the Tuscan Coast Association: Duccio Corsini is the new president

Duccio Corsini succeeded Ginevra Venerosi Pesciolini as president of Grandi Cru della Costa Toscana after her 17-year tenure. He was already a founding member and director of the association and represents Tenuta Marsiliana in Manciano.

His programme emphasized deeper knowledge of coastal territories and their production, together with the social consequences of decisions concerning environment and landscape. He proposed combining accumulated expertise with contemporary forms of communication so that it can be transmitted into the future.

The association began in Bolgheri in 2003, founded by 12 producers to promote wine from the coastal provinces of Massa, Lucca, Pisa, Livorno and Grosseto. It subsequently grew to approximately 65 members and helped secure recognition of IGT Costa Toscana in 2010. Its activities include the annual Anteprima Vini della Costa in Lucca.
