Principe Corsini’s sustainable agricultural practices

The agricultural programme treats sustainability as an environmental, economic, social and ethical commitment. Organic conversion began in 2012, and certification was achieved from 2015.

Plant protection uses contact products that are not absorbed by vines, rather than synthetic systemic products. Fertilizers are chosen for low nitrite and nitrate inputs, and copper and sulphur are used in limited quantities. Purchasing gives preference to local suppliers and to products with biodegradable or recyclable packaging. Waste disposal receives added attention during grape and olive harvests, when more people are working across the properties.

The objective is to preserve soil fertility and balance while developing wines and oils that reflect their terroirs.
