Rudi Bindella puts his signature on Tenuta Vallocaia wines

Tenuta Vallocaia marked four decades of family ownership with a substantial change to its visual identity. The renewed labels depict the soft hills surrounding the winery and place the handwritten name Vallocaia, signed by Rudi Bindella, at their centre. The change was designed to give the Montepulciano wines a stronger and more recognisable estate identity.

The redesign followed the renewal of the winery and continued a development path begun in 1983 with the purchase of the original 2.5 ha vineyard property. Subsequent acquisitions enlarged the estate, while Giovanni Capuano’s arrival in 1999 helped define the character of its wines and production approach.
