Albino Armani: «Amo il Friuli»

The article traces Albino Armani’s work in Friuli before turning to his latest acquisition at Valeriano. He bought the estate and former Vicentini-Orgnani cellar after learning about the native grapes recovered in the area. Terre di Plovia occupies a clay-rich hillside above the Tagliamento, overlooking San Daniele. The vineyards border the historic route once followed by pilgrims toward Aquileia and the Holy Land, inspiring the names Flum and Piligrin. Armani describes the Alta Grave as an austere, windy and still-unheralded landscape that attracted him through its integrity and reserved culture.
